Frequently Asked Questions

What are the storage limits for Google Drive backups?

Google Drive offers 15GB free storage shared across Gmail, Drive, and Photos. For WordPress backups, you can upgrade to Google One plans: 100GB for $1.99/month, 200GB for $2.99/month, or 2TB for $9.99/month. Business plans offer unlimited storage.

Can I share WordPress backup files with team members?

Yes! Google Drive's sharing features make it easy to share backup access with team members, set different permission levels (view, comment, edit), and manage access from a central dashboard. Perfect for agencies and development teams.

How does Google Drive compare to other backup storage options?

Google Drive excels in ease of use and Google Workspace integration but may have higher costs for large storage needs compared to dedicated backup services like AWS S3 or Wasabi. It's ideal for small to medium sites with existing Google Workspace usage.
